Why Morzine-Montriond?
The Morzine-Montriond Triathlon has been a long term project which we are now seeing start to take shape. We were proud to launch the first edition in September 2018 and we have seen the event grow since then.
It is the combination of the support from the Morzine Marie, Morzine Tourist Office, Montriond Mairie, local businesses, the local Association Tri Montage, FFTri race officials, volunteers and the participants that make this event possible.
Our Mission
Our aim to to deliver a safe, fair and friendly event that is open to people of all ages and abilities.
For 2022, we decided to finish the Sprint and Olympic distances in Avoriaz to make it a true mountain triathlon and to ensure a safe bike course on quiet roads. This was a success so we will continue these courses for future years. The Super Sprint will be held at Lac de Montriond from 2023 to offer a more interesting course for participants. The tristars race will be held in Avoriaz to facilitate family participation and to minimise transport between different sites.
